And we run the gas line ourselves. Natural gas is the family trade, so the same crew that installs your fireplace runs the gas to it. No plumber to line up, no second schedule, and a room with no gas line yet is still a candidate. A lot of fireplace companies don't do that part.

How much does a gas fireplace cost?
It depends on the unit, the venting, and what your home already has in place — which is why you get a firm number at your in-home appointment instead of a guess from a web form. What we promise up front: the quote is real when you get it, with the vent kit and installation included, not a teaser that grows on the invoice.
Do we need a chimney for a gas fireplace?
No. Direct-vent fireplaces vent through an exterior wall or the roof with a sealed pipe, and vent-free models need no venting at all. If you do have a masonry chimney, an insert or gas log set puts it back to work.
